Surrounded by open farmland and close to the old town of Pollensa with lovely views towards the outcrop of Puig de Maria lies the Villa Can Mart, a delightful two bedroom villa that combines the rural and traditional style with some modern and contemporary fittings. Pinos Altos is placed in the wonderful area of Cala San Vicente, a spot that retains its position as one of the most popular resorts on the island. Separated from Puerto Pollensa by the distinctive Serra de Tramontana mountain range, it nestles at the foot of a beautiful pine clad valley that leads down to the secluded sandy coves surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery. Cala San Vicente is the ideal spot for relaxing holiday. There are just a few shops, cafes, restaurants, hotels and a doctor surgery grouped around the two bays which are separated by a rocky headland. A five minutes drive takes you to Puerto Pollensa and to the beautiful, historic Old town of Pollensa. Pinos altos is set in a particularly quiet and pretty position towards to the rear of the resort and surrounded by tall pines from which it takes its name. Just a short walk from the beach and resort centre and with a bus stop along the road, it is an excellent choice for families with young children or for couples that want to relax. There is a reception lounge area which gives access to the type 1 and 2 apartments, and to the sunbathing area plus the annex where we find the type 3 apartments. This single storey villa provides an ideal holiday home in a rural location not far from the old town of Pollensa while the beaches in Port Pollensa and Cala San Vicente are within a few minutes drive. Approaching from the front covered terrace, the large oak studded door opens directly into the spacious living toom with two sofas and satellite TV plus a DVD player. A large fitted rustic style kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, electric oven, gas hob and a fridge/freezer has direct access to the rear terrace with views to the roman stepped swimming pool and gardens. There is also a small built in barbecue area with a shower room and a washing machine. The bedrooms are to the left of the living room, they comprise of one master bedroom and three twins, all sharing two full bathrooms and all completes with fitted wardrobes. There is also air conditioning in all the bedrooms. The comfortable furnishings complement the classic décor and the local style design and it is combined with terracotta tiles and oak beamed ceilings throghout. The mozaic swimming pool with roman steps surrounded by lawn and a covered terrace with a wooden dining table and benches has stunning views onto the Puig de Maria hill. Completes the exterior of the villa a built in barbecue and a shower room. Villa Caragola is a stone clad house with plenty of spaces for a family holiday.
