Where to choose a villa in Mallorca

In the north of Mallorca is the delightful resort of Puerto Pollensa with its deep, horseshoe-shaped bay and smaller neighbour Cala San Vicente. The Pollensa area is much sought after and many of the villas we list can be found in this area. Also popular with villa owners on Mallorca is the north east, where the smaller resorts of Canyamel and Cala Ratjada provide an alternative to the more concrete attractions of Cala Bona and Cala Millor. Alternatively, you can head inland for your villa holiday; into the cooler, pine clad mountains which form a chain in the west. Villages and small towns like Deia, Orient or the clifftop Banyalbufar are relatively untouched by holiday development. Finally, if you prefer days on the beach and evenings in a lively resort, a villa holiday in the Cala d'Or area in the south could be your best bet. But almost anywhere in Mallorca you can be sure of wonderful beaches, clean, inviting sea, plenty of choice in restaurants and entertainment, and a good selection of apartments and villas for rent.

From the shaded veranda, the main door leads straight to the lounge dining room, decorated with Majorcan style furnishings. To the left a door gives access to the small but cosy fitted kitchen, equipped with dishwasher. A further door leads to the garage which is used as a laundry area. To the right we can find one double bedroom and a full bathroom. Upstairs, there is a spacious twin bedroom with a low beamed ceiling that gives a cosy atmosphere.

The outside secluded swimming pool with lawn and mature gardens plus a built in barbecue completes the exterior of the house, an ideal place to relax enjoying the magnificent Pollensa countryside.

This single storey villa provides an ideal holiday home in a rural location not far from the old town of Pollensa while the beaches in Port Pollensa and Cala San Vicente are within a few minutes drive.

Approaching from the front covered terrace, the large oak studded door opens directly into the spacious living toom with two sofas and satellite TV plus a DVD player.

A large fitted rustic style kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, electric oven, gas hob and a fridge/freezer has direct access to the rear terrace with views to the roman stepped swimming pool and gardens. There is also a small built in barbecue area with a shower room and a washing machine.

The bedrooms are to the left of the living room, they comprise of one master bedroom and three twins, all sharing two full bathrooms and all completes with fitted wardrobes. There is also air conditioning in all the bedrooms. The comfortable furnishings complement the classic décor and the local style design and it is combined with terracotta tiles and oak beamed ceilings throghout.

The mozaic swimming pool with roman steps surrounded by lawn and a covered terrace with a wooden dining table and benches has stunning views onto the Puig de Maria hill. Completes the exterior of the villa a built in barbecue and a shower room.

Botana is a popular complex of twelve semi-detached villas in the resort of Cala San Vicente, conveniently situated within just a short stroll to the sandy coves and resort amenities.

These semi-detached villas are reached via a track and are built on a hillside around a large swimming pool. The villas are all two storey and vary in sizes, however spacious, and simply furnished.

Each villa has either two, three or four bedrooms, all of them twins. All have combined lounge dining room with sofa bed and fireplace, kitchen, and sun terraces to both the front and rear of the accommodation. Moreover, the villas have washing machine.

Inside is simply yet comfortable with mallorcan style decor. Bedrooms are on both floors with the downstairs twin having an en suite bathroom.

Villa Santuiri is one of our most simply villas, but it has a convenient location just one kilometre far from the Old Town of Pollensa, and has fantastic views from the rooftop terrace to the town and mountains.

There are 2 bedrooms; One with a double bed, and another one with two single beds.
Ideal for family travelling with children and for maximum comfort they are all fitted with air condition. The lounge is provided with both television and video player. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, with dining area, but you will probably prefer outdoor meals on the covered terrace, maybe using the barbecue. DVD player.

The house has a private swimming-pool with plenty of space for sunbathing - an ideal place to enjoy the views of the mountains behind the house.
